Rye's music is shaped by her upbringing in Vilnius, Lithuania, where she was immersed in experimental rock, underground electronic music, and the tradition of sung poetry. Her love for languages is a key part of her work, as she sings in English, Lithuanian, and Spanish, and often incorporates spoken word into her compositions.

Since releasing her debut EP, I Feel Everything, in 2024, Rye has been making waves in the music scene. The lead single was featured on BBC Radio 6Music, she signed a publishing deal with Wipe Out Music Publishing, performed a live session for BBC Introducing Newcastle, and shared the stage with artists like Finn Forster and Imogen and the Knife. She also appeared live on Lithuanian national radio LRT Opus' Morning Show Atmerk Akis, a programme known for showcasing innovative music and emerging artists.

Rye's music explores the complexities of human nature, touching on themes like ambivalence, limitation, and resilience. Her vocal style, both haunting and fragile, combined with powerful melodies, reflects the balance between strength and vulnerability. Through her work, Rye hopes to offer listeners a sense of hope while stayting grounded in life's realities.
